A strong bomb cyclone was generated over the northern Pacific. The gigantic storm will be responsible for ushering in continuous storms to the West Coast. In some areas, it could unleash almost 2 feet of rain and up to several feet of snow over the mountains. Although the precipitation is good news for the region, given that the area has been experiencing significant drought, the weather event could result in major flooding, mudslides, and massive threats to lives and property. As the storm train commenced, high wind warnings, gale warnings, advisories, and flash flood warnings were issued for areas between Northern California and Washington. Watch the video.
