Severe weather storms have been reported across Mississippi and Alabama, causing widespread damage to properties and structures. A tree nearly tore a house in half after being uprooted during a storm. However, zero fatalities and injuries have been reported.
The tornado siren that went up at the storm’s onset took a direct hit and was blown off its perch. After it went down, the neighbors heard a loud crash which they later discovered was the sound of the tree crashing into the house.
Furthermore, temperatures have dropped to 50 degrees after the passing of the storm. Storms this late in the season are unusual, so people are anxiously speculating when the next one will hit.
