Downpours and scattered storms could cause flooding across the Southeast this week. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued flood watches for many regions in the area, including for the Atlanta and Birmingham metros. Meanwhile, the weather systems that are targeting the West could bring thunderstorms and showers to the Southwest as well as Southern California. The Northwest could also experience some rain and mountain snow, given that another storm is moving onshore. Regions that will likely be impacted in the Northwest include the northern and central Rockies and northern California.
