December is one of Colorado’s busiest travel weeks, and those headed to the state to spend the holidays should be prepared to encounter dangerous weather conditions, according to the NWS. A winter storm, which is powered by an atmospheric river, is approaching the area and could result in deteriorating travel conditions. The NWS, however, stated that skiing conditions would improve.
